Accordingly, the bridge construction projects agreed upon for investment include Cat Lai, Long Hung (Dong Nai 2 bridge), Phu My 2, Hieu Liem 2, Thanh Hoi 2, Tan Hien, Tan An, and Xom La.

Among these, the Cat Lai and Long Hung bridge projects will be managed and implemented by the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee. Meanwhile, the construction departments of both localities have reached consensus on the route alignments and investment scales of these projects.

Specifically, the Cat Lai bridge and its connecting roads at both ends will be developed as an urban trunk route, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a cross-section comprising six lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for non-motorized traffic. The project will start on Nguyen Thi Dinh street (approximately 400 meters from the My Thuy intersection in Cat Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and end at the Ben Luc–Long Thanh expressway (in Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province). The total route length exceeds 11.6 km, including more than 3 km of the bridge itself.

The Long Hung bridge and its connecting roads will also be constructed as an urban trunk route, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a cross-section of six motor vehicle lanes and two non-motorized lanes. The project begins at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 and Go Cong junction (Thu Duc and Ho Chi Minh cities) and ends at National Highway 51 in An Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province. The total route length is nearly 12 km, including a 2.3 km bridge section.

For the Phu My 2 bridge project, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee will serve as the managing agency. The project is planned to feature an urban trunk route design, with a speed of 80 km/h and a cross-section of six motor lanes and two non-motorized lanes. It will start at Nguyen Huu Tho street (Ho Chi Minh City) and end at Road 25C (Dong Nai province). The total length is about 15 km, with the the Phu My 2 bridge spanning nearly 5 km.

Regarding the projects of Hieu Liem 2, Thanh Hoi 2, Tan Hien, Tan An, and Xom La bridges, the People’s Committees of the former Binh Duong province and Dong Nai province have agreed in principle to jointly research and implement them. Accordinglly, Dong Nai People’s Committee will take charge of building the Xom La and Tan Hien bridges, while the former Binh Duong People’s Committee will be responsible for Hieu Liem 2, Thanh Hoi 2, and Tan An bridges. Among these, the Hieu Liem 2 bridge project has been approved by the Prime Minister to be invested and built by the former Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee.
