Today’s consumers are increasingly turning to clean agricultural products and healthy foods for the well-being of themselves and their families. The growth of modern supermarkets and retail systems has played a significant role in bringing these products closer to consumers, as most are subject to strict controls on quality, packaging, and pricing.

Trang Phuc, a representative from the marketing department of Co.opmart Bien Hoa (Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai province), noted: “Consumers are increasingly interested in fresh, clean produce, especially hydroponic vegetables and products with clear traceability. They particularly prefer those certified under standards like VietGAP and GlobalGAP. In today’s competitive retail environment, price differences between organic or clean produce and conventional items have narrowed significantly. This allows consumers more choices, and green-clean-safe products now appeal to a broader customer base.”

As consumption trends shift, shoppers are paying greater attention to organic products, nutritious foods, and fruits with clear origins. In response, many producers and retail supply chains are prioritizing technological investment and strengthening linkages to supply clean, high-quality products that meet the market's rising demands.
