During the field inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha and the working delegation from the Provincial People's Committee inspected several locations that are still facing site clearance difficulties for the two projects in Tran Bien ward and Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai province.
Reporting at the inspection, representatives of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the investor of the projects, stated: For the Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project, site clearance has been basically completed, with only a few households remaining on the approach road on the side of the old Thong Nhat ward and connecting sections to Dang Van Tron Street.
As for the Cai Riverside Road Project, only the construction package for 5 bridges along the route has been implemented. However, there are still pending cases of site clearance on the approach roads to Tan Mai, Rach Gio, and Ba Bot bridges. For the road section, only about 2.4 hectares out of a total of 13.2 hectares have been handed over, reaching 18%. Since the handed-over site area does not meet requirements yet, the construction package for the road section cannot proceed with contractor selection work to commence construction.

According to representatives of the People's Committees of Tran Bien, Tam Hiep wards and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, site clearance for the projects is facing difficulties in the consideration for resettlement. Some land plots related to Go Me Cooperative are awaiting guidance for handling. Localities proposed that the Provincial People's Committee second more officials to support and accelerate site clearance for the projects.
Speaking during the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha assessed: Both projects have been under construction for a long time but progress remains slow. Emphasizing that "project progress waits for no one", the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to devote maximum time and human resources to complete site clearance for the projects. Tran Bien and Tam Hiep wards must assign a leader to continuously monitor the project, especially regarding the appraisal and approval for compensation and support plans. While waiting for the approval for compensation and support plans, the Party Committees of both wards must establish mobilization teams to persuade affected households and organizations to hand over the site early for contractors to implement construction.
Regarding the proposal to add more personnel to support site clearance, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha acknowledged and will direct early implementation to provide maximum support to localities.
