On the evening of September 19, the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai province convened its 15th Congress to elect the Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term, with the participation of nearly 300 members.

Also attending were guests from the Taiwan Business Association in Vietnam, the Taiwan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, and representatives of several departments and sectors of Dong Nai province.

At the congress, members of the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai voted to elect the 15th Executive Committee. Lee Wei Chun, Vice President of the 14th the Taiwan Business Association, was elected President of the 15th Taiwan Business Association term (2026–2028), officially starting from early 2026. On this occasion, the Association also admitted 6 new members that are enterprises currently operating in the province.

Currently, Taiwan has invested in more than 280 projects in Dong Nai, with a total registered capital of nearly 6 billion USD, making it one of the top 3 foreign investors in the province. Many Taiwanese enterprises have been investing and operating in Dong Nai for over 30 years. Alongside business achievements, the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai has also acted as a bridge, connecting Taiwanese enterprises to charitable activities such as supporting the elderly living alone, orphans, and people with disabilities.

Dien Khon Truong, President of the 14th Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai, shared that in recent years, member enterprises have achieved very positive growth. Their production and business activities have been expanding steadily, with strong emphasis on applying science and technology in manufacturing, thereby contributing significantly to the province’s socio-economic development.
