Promoting linkage and introduction of Dong Nai’s agricultural products

On September 18, Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association organized the conference on linking and introducing agricultural products of Dong Nai province. Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of the province, Chairman of Dong Nai province Farmers’ Association Nguyen Huu Nguyen chaired the conference.

The conference was attended by many enterprises, cooperatives, OCOP (One Commune One Product) entities, tourist areas, restaurants, and hotels in the province.

The conference focused on connecting cooperatives, OCOP entities with accommodation and tourism enterprises. Representatives of OCOP entities introduced and promoted products, outstanding characteristics, and product stories; then, enterprises, restaurants, and hotels shared experiences, criteria for product selection, and feedback to improve quality, design, and packaging to better meet market requirements.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association Nguyen Huu Nguyen emphasized the role and importance of linkage and cooperation between OCOP entities and enterprises in the current period. In doing so, he said, it will create conditions to expand the consumer market, increase competitiveness, and contribute to sustainable development of local agricultural products.

In the coming time, Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association is expected to organize quarterly activities to strengthen programs for promoting and introducing local agricultural products in general and OCOP products in particular; as well as to create opportunities for OCOP entities to connect with suppliers and enterprises to expand the market.
