During inspection at the final junction area of branch 2 adjacent to Dang Van Tron Street, Secretary of Tran Bien ward Party Comittee Ho Van Nam noted that the material transportation route to the project site is relatively convenient, and a large area of land has been cleared and handed over, but the construction unit has been progressing very slowly.
Explaining the reason for the delay, the construction contractor stated that it was due to rainy weather and time-based vehicle restrictions on the material transport routes. However, Ho Van Nam considered these reasons unconvincing.
Meanwhile, inspection of the final section of branch 1 near An Hao bridge showed that although a relatively large area has been cleared, the construction site has yet to see concentrated mobilization of both manpower and equipment.

Regarding the area at the Thong Nhat bridge entrance adjacent to Vo Thi Sau Street, the construction contractor claimed that slow progress was due to a lack of available site space, while in reality, the prioritized areas have basically been cleared.
In response, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tran Bien ward Ho Van Nam requested the project investor, Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, to review the capacity of contractors involved and take measures to accelerate progress; if necessary, solutions to handle contractors under regulations should be implemented.
Regarding land clearance, the representative of Bien Hoa branch of Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center (LFDC) said that currently 50 households remain unresolved along the project route, accounting for nearly 10% of the total area yet to be handed over.

Secretary of Tran Bien ward Party Committee Ho Van Nam requested Chan Bien ward People’s Committee to coordinate with the LFDC in reviewing and approving resettlement plans and other support policies such as buying social housing and temporary accommodation, so that eligible households can hand over land soon, with the goal of basically completing land clearance by the end of this September to serve seamless construction along the entire route.
In addition, by December 19, at least the entire Tran Bien ward central axis road project must be put under full-scale and seamless construction, in time to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and contribute to public investment disbursement as directed by the Prime Minister.
Tran Bien ward central axis road is one of the local key infrastructure projects. The project requires land recovery of more than 33 hectares, affecting 390 households, individuals, and organizations.
The project has a total length of more than 5.4 km, divided into two branches. Branch 1 starts from Vo Thi Sau Street, extends more than 3.7 km to the final junction at An Hao bridge and Dang Van Tron Street. Branch 2 is more than 1.7 km long, from the roundabout connecting with branch 1 at Cu Lao Hiep Hoa (Hiep Hoa island) to the final junction at Buu Hoa bridge connecting to Dang Van Tron Street.
The project was launched in 2022 with a total investment of more than VND1,500 billion. At the inspection, the representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that the total value of construction and installation works has reached approximately 60% so far.
