At the meeting, units and localities reported on the progress of site clearance for 8 projects in the province, including: Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road; Cai Riverside Road; provincial roads 25B, 25C; Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway; Tai Lai - Tra Co road; provincial road 774B and provincial road 761 (Xuan Bac - Thanh Son road).
According to functional agencies, to implement the 8 aforementioned projects, the total land area to be recovered is over 240ha. In recent times, land acquisition, compensation, and site clearance for the projects have been delayed. The main reasons are difficulties in resettlement consideration, indentification of land origin, lack of specific land prices, and compensation unit prices for some types of crops.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: Investing in transport infrastructure development is an urgent requirement to serve the socio-economic development needs of the province. The Tai Lai - Tra Co road, provincial road 774B, and Xuan Bac - Thanh Son road projects are being implemented to create conditions for people in remote areas of the province to develop their economy. Therefore, relevant units must strengthen coordination and accelerate the progress of site clearance for the projects. The goal is to commence construction of provincial roads 774B and 761 by the end of 2025.
For provincial roads 25B, 25C, and the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, these are projects serving traffic connections for Long Thanh International Airport. Therefore, according to the Prime Minister's directive, these projects need to be basically completed by the end of 2025 and put into operation in 2026, in sync with the commencement of Phase 1 of Long Thanh Airport. Therefore, site clearance must be completed early. The situation of prolonged delays as in the past must not be allowed to continue.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha stated: For the Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project, there are currently no more difficulties, so Tran Bien ward needs to quickly complete the site clearance for this project. For the Cai Riverside Road Project, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board will coordinate with Tran Bien and Tam Hiep wards to develop a plan for site clearance implementation. Tam Hiep ward will focus on considering resettlement for households in the project area. All units are required to strive to complete site clearance for at least 30% of the area by the end of November 2025 to commence construction of the road section of the Cai Riverside Road Project.
