The program will begin at 5:30 a.m. at Dong Xoai Square (Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Nai Province), featuring a variety of activities, including a run in support of the campaign, a community cleanup across the ward, and the exchange of recyclable and hazardous waste for gifts.
Through this program, the organizers aim to promote the message of environmental protection, encourage public awareness in preserving a green, clean, and beautiful environment, and inspire active participation in environmental initiatives for a sustainable future.
The campaign “Clean up the world” was launched globally by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 1993. Up to now, the campaign has become one of the world’s largest environmental activities, with the participation of many countries, including Vietnam.
