On the morning of August 18, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, chaired a meeting with relevant units to hear reports on the preparations for organizing the construction commencement, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects in the province, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, which will take place on August 19, 2025.
Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son, and members of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Kim Long, Ho Van Ha, and Nguyen Thi Hoang also attended the meeting.

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Construction, there are 8 projects in the province that will witness construction commencement, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2). Among them, construction is set to start on 6 projects, including: Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion; Component Project 1, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project; Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway Expansion; Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway; Block 2C lecture hall, Long Binh Tan facility in Long Hung ward; Investment Project for Construction and Business of Aircraft Maintenance Services No. 3, 4 at Long Thanh International Airport.
One project witnessing inauguration ceremony is Component Project 1A, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, phase 1, while ground is broken for the Ma Da Bridge Project.

Among the 8 projects listed for organizing construction commencement, groundbreaking and inauguration in the province, 7 will be held via online connection points, with the ceremony for the expansion of Tri An Hydropower Plant being broadcast live. Currently, relevant units have basically completed the preparation of facilities, connection lines, power supply, multi-location live television broadcast, etc.
Delivering conclusion speech at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc stated: The province has 7 online connection points selected out of a total of 80 nationwide, ranking 2nd nationwide after Hanoi City with 12 online connection points. This is a great honor for Dong Nai province, demonstrating the attention of the Government, the Prime Minister, and central ministries and agencies to infrastructure investment development, especially transport infrastructure, to gradually complete the transport system connecting to Long Thanh Airport. Therefore, the best preparation of conditions to serve the construction commencement, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects in the province is very important.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc praised the preparation work of the project owners, investors, related enterprises, and functional agencies of the province, that have coordinated very well and basically completed the preparation work despite a very short time, and a large and complicated workload.
To complete the remaining tasks to serve the construction commencement, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects in the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to urgently organize a comprehensive inspection of the preparation work for the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project; Dau Giay - Tan Phu; Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway Expansion; Component Project 1A; Investment Project for Construction and Business of Aircraft Maintenance Services No. 3,4 at Long Thanh Airport and Ma Da Bridge
The Department of Industry and Trade was tasked to organize an inspection of the preparation work for the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project.
The Department of Education and Training was directed to inspect the preparation work for the 2C Lecture Hall Block Project, Long Binh Tan campus.

The Department of Science and Technology, together with Dong Nai Telecom and Viettel Dong Nai, were asked to preside over the inspection of transmission line connectivity, ensuring smooth, stable connection, and the best quality images and sound at all bridge points.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television will be responsible for preparing for filming, broadcasting, and receiving live footage from the main connection point at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, ensuring the best connection, image transmission and reception.

The Provincial Police was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command and other units and localities to develop a plan to ensure security, order, and traffic safety.
