As for the remaining area, the Long Thanh and Nhon Trach branches of the Land Fund Development Center are continuing to carry out compensation and site clearance procedures.
Regarding construction, the project is currently implementing one construction and installation package with an execution value of about 110 billion VND, reaching over 13% of the signed contract value. The project is also implementing the package for relocating the electrical technical infrastructure system to serve construction.
Regarding the relocation of technical infrastructure systems for project construction, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board also recommended that Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company accelerate the relocation of the D600 water supply pipeline within the left sidewalk of the road.
The Provincial Road 25B Upgrade Project spans over 9.2 kilometers, running through Long Thanh and Nhon Trach communes in Dong Nai province. The project will upgrade this section of Provincial Road 25B to a final cross-sectional width of 80 meters. With a total investment of nearly 1.5 trillion VND, construction is scheduled to begin in early 2025, reach basic completion by the end of 2025, and enter full operation in 2026.
This initiative is a key project for improving traffic connectivity in accordance with the master plan, progressively completing infrastructure to support socio-economic development aligned with the overall urban planning of the new Nhon Trach urban area. At the same time, it will optimize the effectiveness of ongoing and completed investments, open up new development space, unlock land use potential, and help build a modern, sustainable urban system.
This initiative is also one of the important projects serving traffic connectivity for Long Thanh International Airport. According to the master plan, the Long Thanh Airport Project has 2 routes, T1 and T2, which play a role in connecting with major traffic axes in the region to provide traffic connectivity for the airport.
Accordingly, route T1 will connect with National Highway 51 and Provincial Roads 25B and 25C, then link to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City, both currently under construction. This route will serve as a key connector between Long Thanh Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, and the southwestern provinces, while also helping to ease traffic congestion on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.
