Dong Nai's Industrial and Economic Zones Management Board established

(DN) – On July 4, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1486/QD-TTg on the establishment of Dong Nai's Industrial and Economic Zones Management Board.

The new board is formed by merging Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, Dong Nai Hi-Tech Biotechnology Park and the Binh Phuoc Economic Zone Authority.

The board is an agency under the provincial People's Committee. It performs the function of direct State management over the economic zones, industrial parks and high-tech zones in the province. It also provides public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production, business, research, and technology transfer.

The board has legal status, its own seal and a separate bank account. It is funded by the state budget and other lawful sources. The decision takes effect from July 4 and repeals previous decisions on the establishment of Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, Dong Nai Hi-Tech Biotechnology Park and Binh Phuoc Economic Zone Authority.
