At the Planning and Investment Promotion Conference, Dong Nai awarded investment certificates to five FDI projects worth a total of USD 177 million. All projects are in high-tech and environmentally friendly industries.
Among the investors, U.S.-based Coherent Corporation received two certificates for semiconductor manufacturing projects in Nhon Trach Industrial Park, totaling USD 83 million. Other notable projects include Hisense’s Regza Electronics Plant (USD 40 million), Global Star Technology (USD 33 million), and Gold Long John Vietnam (USD 21 million), all focused on high-tech production.
KN Holdings Vice Chairwoman Le Nu Thuy Duong highlighted Dong Nai’s strategic location and commitment to green development, affirming continued investment in industrial parks, smart agriculture, and new urban areas.
provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh emphasized that the event reflects Dong Nai’s readiness and competitiveness, supported by clear planning and the upcoming Long Thành International Airport. He affirmed the province’s commitment to creating a safe, transparent, and investor-friendly environment.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged businesses to act responsibly, fulfill their commitments, and take the lead in innovation, green transition, digital transformation, and high-quality workforce development.
