Dong Nai approves environmental license for residential project

(ĐN) – On June 30, Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment granted an environmental license to Mien Dong JSC for implementing environmental protection measures for a residential infrastructure project in Long Hung ward.

The project covers more than 139,600m², classified as Group C under public investment laws and Group III in terms of environmental criteria. It includes 722 housing units comprising terraced houses, garden homes, villas, and resettlement units, alongside roads, technical infrastructure, and a wastewater treatment system.

The license allows the discharge of wastewater in accordance with strict environmental standards on air emissions, dust, noise, vibration, and waste management. Mien Dong JSC must complete corresponding environmental protection works before implementation and ensure regular, compliant operation of waste treatment systems. The company is legally accountable if pollution levels exceed permitted limits and must immediately halt discharges to remedy violations.

The license is valid for 10 years from June 30, 2025.
