In the first 5 months of 2025, Dong Nai's state budget revenue (SBR) reached over 53% of the annual estimate. According to the financial sector's assessment, this is the result of the efforts of units to collect SBR, striving to achieve the set targets.

To achieve the SBR collection target, tax and customs units are striving to review revenue sources, ensuring correct and sufficient collection of SBR items. At the same time, they are focusing on implementing new policies and regulations related to the tax sector, and reviewing new revenue sources for the SBR.
According to the Department of Finance, in the first 5 months of the year, the province's domestic revenue reached over 23.3 trillion VND, achieving 58% of the estimate and increasing by 26% over the same period; revenue from import and export activities was over 8.4 trillion VND, achieving 42% of the estimate, an increase of 5% over the same period in 2025.
Nguyen Toan Thang, Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Area XV, said that since the beginning of the year, some key industrial sectors in Dong Nai province have shown significant production growth compared to the same period, such as: food processing, tobacco production, leather and related products manufacturing... In addition, the economic situation continues to develop positively and stably.
Recently, central functional agencies and the Provincial People's Committee held a working session to find solutions to difficulties for 121 real estate projects in the province, aiming to accelerate implementation progress. When these projects are unblocked, they will contribute to Dong Nai's double-digit economic growth target in 2025.
To fulfill the assigned political tasks, right from the beginning of the year, the tax sector has implemented many solutions in state budget revenue management in the province, such as: implementing policies to support businesses (DN) in recovering and developing production and business; increasing inspections and examinations in the area, promptly detecting and strictly handling violations. In addition, the tax sector focuses on urging the collection of tax debts that can be collected into the state budget. Strengthening inspection and supervision of value-added tax refund work, especially for businesses with high risk signs, to ensure tax refunds for taxpayers in accordance with legal regulations...
Some areas with increased revenue recently include: contractor tax revenue from component projects in the Long Thanh International Airport Project; corporate income tax from real estate transfers, capital transfers, and revenue after inspection and examination...
Regarding import and export, according to the Customs Department of Area XVIII, revenue increased in some imported goods groups such as metals, plastics, chemicals... with tax increases ranging from 12-50% compared to the same period in 2024.
