Vinh Cuu and Cam My recognized as advanced new rural areas

(ĐN)- On June 2, the State Appraisal Council for the National Target Program on New Rural Development officially recognized Vinh Cuu and Cam My as meeting the criteria for advanced new rural districts.

In Vinh Cuu, all 9 communes have met new rural standards, with 8 reaching the advanced level and 2 recognized as model new rural communes. The district reports an average annual income of VND 89 million per person, with crop production values averaging VND 157.8 million per hectare. Rural environmental conditions have seen significant improvements through green and clean community initiatives.

Cam My stands out with all 12 communes certified as advanced new rural areas, including 4 model communes, 17 model residential areas, and Long Giao town recognized as a civilized urban center. The average income for rural residents is VND 83 million per year, with no households classified as poor or near-poor.
