May CPI up 0.16%

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s May consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.16% compared to April. Urban areas saw a 0.3% increase, while rural areas recorded a smaller rise of 0.02%.

Of the 11 major consumer goods and services categories, 6 groups increased, 3 declined, and 2 remained unchanged. Prices rose notably in food and dining, beverages, and housing materials. Meanwhile, the transportation group saw the largest drop, driven by falling fuel prices.
