(ĐN)- Dong Nai is among Vietnam’s top provinces in large-scale farming and livestock, with over 300,000 hectares of crops and more than 26 million pigs and poultry. This creates favorable conditions for businesses to lead in hi-tech agricultural development.
Firms like Trang Trai Viet in Xuan Loc have pioneered waste-to-fertilizer tech, turning poultry waste into organic fertilizer. The company also operates a 13-hectare GlobalGAP-certified smart farm producing melons and vegetables using locally developed technology, including automated irrigation robots and solar-powered cooling systems.
VINAEGG in Tan Phu processes up to 600,000 quail eggs daily for export using self-invented peeling machines and FSSC 22000-certified production lines. The firm also raises 80,000 quails and partners with farmers under a closed production chain.
Currently, 328 agricultural enterprises in Dong Nai apply hi-tech methods. Foreign and local giants like Nestlé, Masan, CP, CJ, and GC Food invest heavily in farming, food processing, and export. Dong Nai has 50 animal feed companies and 130 agricultural processing firms exporting to over 30 countries.
Koyu & Unitek exports 300–350 tons of chicken meat monthly to Japan and plans to expand to Hong Kong and Europe. Their entire supply chain—from breeding to slaughter and processing—meets Japanese standards.
Hi-tech agriculture now accounts for over VND38 trillion in output, or 51.2% of Dong Nai’s core agricultural value, exceeding 2025 targets. The province has formed 127 production zones and 419 hi-tech farming models, confirming its role as a national leader in modern, sustainable agriculture.
