Farmers contribute over 18,000 workdays to build new rural areas

(ĐN)- According to Vinh Cuu district’s authorities, local farmers have played a key role in building advanced and model new rural areas through various emulation movements led by the district Farmers’ Association.

Notably, the movement for “Excellent farmers in production and business,” “Farmers building new rural areas,” and “Farmers ensuring National defense and security” have gained wide support. Through these efforts, farmers have contributed over VND 140 billion, donated nearly 197,000 square meters of land, and volunteered more than 18,000 workdays to build rural roads, irrigation systems, and lighting infrastructure.
