Dong Nai cracks down on counterfeit goods and trade violations

(ĐN)- Between May 15 and June 15, Dong Nai authorities handled 302 violations during a campaign targeting smuggling, counterfeit goods, and trade fraud, as directed by the Prime Minister. Two criminal cases involving three suspects were prosecuted. The total amount collected for the state budget was around VND 66 billion, including VND 40.9 billion in tax arrears and over VND 25 billion in fines.

Moving forward, provincial authorities have instructed enforcement agencies to strengthen surveillance, coordination, and enforcement—particularly against large-scale violations and illegal activities involving banned or counterfeit goods, especially food and dietary supplements. Efforts will also focus on combating e-commerce violations.
