The province is also a national leader in durian cultivation and export, with numerous large-scale, high-tech farms and export-certified growing areas. Durian acreage continues to rise thanks to high profits and modern farming practices.

In livestock, Dong Nai maintains its status as Vietnam’s top producer with 4.1 million pigs and 35.9 million poultry. The province is advancing industrial-scale, high-tech farming using smart sensors and automated systems. Aquaculture is also expanding, with high-profit shrimp farming models and strong growth in fisheries output. dong Nai leads the Southeast in swiftlet farming, producing 15 tons of bird’s nest annually.

In 2024, Dong Nai’s agro-forestry-fishery production value reached VND50.6 trillion, growing over 3.5% year-on-year and ranking among the fastest-growing provinces in the Southeast region.
