(ĐN)- Responsible business practices are becoming a global trend. More companies are integrating social, environmental, and ethical concerns into their operations and strategies.
However, recent violations, especially in sectors like food and health, highlight the urgent need for a responsible business community. Counterfeit goods and trade fraud are on the rise, harming consumers and damaging the reputation of genuine businesses.
Fake and poor-quality products not only endanger consumers but also tarnish brands, leading to lost trust and even business failure. Despite anti-counterfeit labels, violations are becoming more sophisticated, requiring businesses to adopt digital traceability solutions and collaborate closely with authorities.
According to VCCI Chairman Vo Tan Cong, some businesses still pursue unethical profit. Building a culture of business ethics is essential for sustainable development. VCCI has issued a Code of Business Ethics since 2023 and is supporting the government’s efforts to create national standards for ethical business culture.
Initiatives like CSI 2025 aim to recognize and promote sustainable and responsible businesses in Vietnam. As emphasized by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Đồng Nai, integrity and transparency are the foundation for long-term growth and global competitiveness.
