(ĐN)- On June 5, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority held a working session with Aquitara Impact Fund 1 (Belgium), which expressed strong interest in developing green and sustainable infrastructure in the province.

According to CEO Elizabeth Leysen, the fund's mission in Vietnam includes dioxin remediation, victim support, and eco-industrial zone development. Aquitara plans to disburse €25 million in 2025 for environmental remediation, with an additional €75 million to follow based on project needs.
The fund welcomed Dong Nai’s investment orientation and committed to supporting its digital transformation agenda. It also expressed readiness to work with local and international partners, aiming to attract FDI from Belgium, the Schengen Area, and the EU.
Local infrastructure businesses voiced support for the province’s green industrial zone strategy and showed willingness to cooperate on future projects. Dong Nai currently has 37 industrial zones, several of which are transitioning toward eco-industrial models.
