(ĐN)- In the context of international integration and the rise of digital technology, intellectual property (IP) plays an increasingly crucial role for businesses. The development of e-commerce and artificial intelligence (AI) presents both opportunities and challenges for IP protection. Violations such as brand counterfeiting and cross-border IP infringement are on the rise, posing legal and enforcement difficulties.

Experts emphasize that Vietnamese businesses need to change their mindset, view IP as a strategic asset, and proactively register and protect their brands, especially in the digital environment. Enhancing brand identity not only improves competitiveness but also helps limit risks related to counterfeit goods and IP violations.
To support businesses, Đồng Nai Province has approved an Intellectual Property Development Program through 2030, aiming to increase trademark registrations and provide support in managing and developing geographical indications, collective marks, and key local products. The province also plans to improve IP enforcement capacity, helping local businesses develop sustainably in the era of digital transformation.
