Including figures from non-VAMA members Hyundai and VinFast, nationwide car sales exceeded 118,800 units during the first quarter of the year.
The top 10 best-selling models during the period included VinFast VF3, VinFast VF5, Mitsubishi Xpander, VinFast VF6, Ford Ranger, Mazda CX-5, Toyota Vios, Ford Everest, Toyota Yaris Cross, and Ford Territory.
The surge in sales was largely driven by aggressive promotional campaigns and incentives rolled out by automakers and dealers, particularly following the Lunar New Year holiday.
