Nhon Trach aims to disburse over VND750b in public investment

(ĐN)- Nhon Trach district is striving to disburse over VND750 billion in public investment capital by the end of June.

In 2025, the total public investment capital allocated for Nhon Trach amounts to nearly VND 2.6 trillion. Of this, over VND 2.3 trillion is allocated by the provincial government, while more than VND 235 billion is sourced from the district's budget.

As of April-end, the district had disbursed over VND 51 billion from the provincial allocation. Nhon Trach has also committed to disbursing nearly VND 567 billion of this funding by the end of June.

Regarding the district’s budget, more than VND 113 billion had been disbursed by the end of April. Nhon Trach expects to raise this figure to over VND185 billion by the end of the second quarter.

According to Nhon Trach District authorities, in 2025 many key projects in the area are in the process of land clearance and compensation, which requires a significant portion of the public investment budget. Specifically, more than VND 2.1 trillion of the VND 2.3 trillion provincial allocation for 2025 is earmarked for site clearance and compensation.

In recent months, the district has made efforts to speed up land clearance for major projects such as Nhon Trach inter-port road, access road to the Ong Keo IP, provincial roads 25C and 25B. Compensation payments to affected households are expected to begin in May and June. As a result, the bulk of the public investment capital allocated for these land clearance efforts is anticipated to be disbursed by the end of the second quarter.
