Many Japanese enterprises choose Dong Nai as their destination

(ĐN)- Dong Nai has emerged as a preferred destination for Japanese investors, attracting 285 projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$6 billion. Japan ranks second in the number of projects and third in total FDI in the province.

With 37 established industrial parks and over 13,000 hectares of land, Dong Nai has drawn investment from 48 countries and territories, totaling over USD 36 billion. Japan is Dong Nai’s second-largest export market, with export turnover reaching USD 832 million in the first four months of 2025.

During a meeting between Dong Nai leaders and the Japanese Business Association (JBA) in Ho Chi Minh city, Japanese businesses praised the province’s advantages in infrastructure and its future potential in services, urban development, and logistics. JBA representatives emphasized that Dong Nai leads the country in supporting industries and has effectively connected businesses to meet market demand.

Japanese companies highly value Dong Nai’s favorable investment environment, with good transport connectivity, minimal natural disasters, and strong local government support. The upcoming Long Thanh International Airport is expected to further enhance connectivity between Vietnam and Japan.

Dong Nai authorities reaffirmed their commitment to facilitating success for Japanese businesses and promoting long-term, sustainable investment in the region.
