Dong Nai's efforts to improve the value of key agricultural products

(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee plans to develop key industrial crops such as rubber, cashew, coffee, and pepper in 2025-2030 period. It aims to enhance product quality, added value, and competitiveness while building large-scale production zones linked to deep processing and climate adaptation.

The strategy focuses on reducing cultivation areas while increasing yield through advanced farming techniques and the use of high-quality seeds. By 2030, total cultivation area will decrease to around 77.1 thousand hectares, but output is expected to exceed 107 thousand tons.

Dong Nai is actively attracting investment in deep processing and certified raw material zones, particularly for organic production. Several businesses have already seen success with this approach, exporting high-quality processed goods to demanding markets such as Europe and the U.S.

In support of this strategy, the province promotes policies to help farmers and enterprises boosting the access to suitable high technologies in seed production, farming, processing, and production .
