(ĐN)- As Vietnam’s livestock hub, Dong Nai is actively developing closed-loop production chains to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the industry. Both large enterprises and small-scale farmers are participating in cooperative models to meet biosecurity standards, with many earning OCOP and VietGAP certifications.

The province currently hosts over 50 animal feed producers, 47 large-scale meat processing facilities, and maintains 50 safe food supply chains. Dong Nai also leads the country in chicken meat exports to demanding markets such as Japan and Hong Kong, with plans to expand to Europe.
Local initiatives such as Long Khanh Poultry Hub and Tam Viet Cooperative have successfully established closed-chain production of native and herbal chicken products — from breeding and feeding to slaughtering, packaging, and direct-to-consumer distribution. These models have proven economically viable, ensuring stable market access and adding value to Dong Nai's agricultural products.
