Dong Nai produces 4.2 million units of furniture

(ĐN) – According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, from the beginning of this year until now, local enterprises and manufacturing facilities have produced approximately 4.2 million units of furniture, including tables, chairs, beds, and cabinets. Of these, nearly 70% were exported to about 100 countries and territories, while the remaining 30% were consumed in the domestic market.

Dong Nai is considered a major hub for the production of wooden furniture, with key products including tables, chairs, beds, cabinets, and shelves. The province is also well known for its handcrafted wooden art products, such as wood carvings, sculptures, and wooden models of cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and boats.

According to local manufacturers, both domestic consumption and exports of wooden products have been favorable in the early months of the year. However, orders for the third and fourth quarters of 2025 have shown signs of slowing down as international buyers wait to see how global trade tensions will be resolved. If the United States reduces import tariffs to more reasonable levels for exporting countries, the market is expected to recover strongly, potentially bringing in large and long-term orders from foreign partners for Vietnamese companies, including those in Dong Nai.
