Dong Nai Farmers Association review its operations

(ĐN)- On May 23, the Dong Nai Farmers Association held a meeting to review its operations and farmer movements for the first half of 2025, as well as to conclude key national-level cooperation programs.

Over recent years, local union branches have focused on building professional farmer groups and sub-associations following the "5 self" and "5 together" models, helping to promote collective economic development. The province now boasts 179 professional farmer sub-associations and 522 groups, totaling over 8,600 members.

The union has expanded services supporting the establishment of cooperatives and collaborative groups, while promoting the integration of science and technology into agricultural production. Between 2021 and 2025, nearly 34,000 science communication events were held, reaching more than 1.8 million members and farmers.

In 2024, the union organized a ceremony to honor outstanding farmers and agricultural products, recognizing 43 individuals and 30 top products.

As of May 2025, over 1,000 new members have joined, bringing the total provincial membership to over 115,000. The union continues to prioritize grassroots-level efforts, organizational streamlining, and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of its operations.
