(ĐN)- On May 5, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with VCCI Ho Chi Minh city and the Dong Nai Business Federation held a conference to announce the 2024 Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) results.

Accordingly, Xuan Loc district topped the local government category with 87.02 points, followed by Thong Nhat (77.98) and Vinh Cuu (64.41).
The Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) led among provincial departments with 95.73 points, followed by Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority and the Department of Information and Communications.
In centrally governed agencies, Dong Nai Customs Department ranked first with 89.27 points.
Chairman Vo Tan Duc urged departments and localities to analyze their sub-index scores and implement measures for improvement, while maintaining high-performing efforts. He also announced a suspension of the DDCI evaluation from 2025 onward to align with the province’s administrative restructuring as directed by the central government. The Department of Finance will coordinate a review and propose a new, more appropriate evaluation framework.
