Despite the monthly drop, total auto sales in the first four months of 2025 surpassed 162,400 units (including figures from Hyundai and Vinfast), marking a 23% year-on-year increase — signaling a positive recovery trend.
Vinfast dominated the list of best-selling models in April with VF5, VF3, and VF6, joined by popular names like Mazda CX-5, Ford Ranger, Toyota Yaris Cross, and Mitsubishi Xpander.
Dealerships in Bien Hoa reported a slowdown in purchasing activity in April, as consumers awaited more attractive promotions or upcoming summer vehicle launches, following a buying surge post-Lunar New Year.
