US and Japan- Dong Nai’s top two trade surplus markets

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, United States and Japan were the province’s largest trade surplus markets in 2024. Dong Nai’s exports to the U.S. reached nearly $7.7 billion, while imports were around $943 million, resulting in a trade surplus of over $6.7 billion—the highest for the province. Japan ranked second with a surplus exceeding $1.2 billion.

Key export products driving this surplus included footwear, textiles, wood products, and coffee. In recent years, businesses in Dong Nai have increasingly sourced domestic raw materials, enhancing production autonomy and meeting localization requirements from international buyers. This strategy has contributed to the province’s growing trade surplus year after year.
