Two more advanced new rural districts in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Dinh Quan and Thong Nhat have been recognized as advanced new rural districts following Xuan Loc.

Thong Nhat was certified as a new rural district in 2015, and all nine communes now maintain their new rural standards for 2021-2025, with two communes meeting model new rural standards. Dau Giay Town has been recognized as a civilized urban area.

Dinh Quan reached new rural district status in 2018. Currently, all 13 communes meet new rural standards for 2021-2025, and nine have achieved advanced status, surpassing the 50% requirement with a 69% rate. The district also boasts four model new rural communes and five model residential areas.

Both districts have made significant progress, particularly in increasing rural residents' average income through enhanced agricultural and economic development initiatives.
