(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 18/KH-UBND outlining electricity supply for 2025.
According to the plan, the province is expected to receive over 17 billion kWh from the national grid, with rooftop solar contributing 770 million kWh. Commercial electricity output is projected at 16.5 billion kWh, marking a 2.78% increase compared to 2024. Power saving is targeted at 2.1%, while transmission loss is estimated at 2.75%.
Electricity demand is forecast to peak in April, followed by May and December. The plan emphasizes ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality power grid operations to support production, business, and daily life across the province. It also includes scenarios for power supply management under normal conditions, short-term and long-term supply-demand imbalances in the southern power system, allowing relevant agencies to develop appropriate response strategies.
