(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in December 2024 increased by 0.26% compared to November 2024.
The CPI in December showed a slight upward trend due to seasonal factors and increased year-end consumer demand. Prices of goods such as beverages, clothing, and entertainment services rose slightly, while food and foodstuffs declined compared to the previous month. Notably, gasoline prices increased, while diesel prices showed a slight decrease, reflecting fluctuations in the global fuel market.
For the entire year of 2024, the average CPI rose by 3.01% compared to 2023. Among the 10 commodity groups that recorded price increases, the pharmaceutical and healthcare services group saw the highest average price growth over the past year.
