(DN)- Nga Bien Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd, headquartered in Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district, is a leading enterprise specializing in cashew production, processing, and export under the Vigonuts brand. With over 15 years of operation, the company remains committed to supplying cashew nuts that meet international quality standards, contributing to the establishment and recognition of Vietnam's cashew brand.

Investing in process  quality

Founded in 2008 as a small-scale, manual processing facility, Nga Bien Company initially focused on exporting raw cashew kernels in limited quantities, averaging only a few dozen tons per month.

By 2015, the company began expanding its production facilities, investing in modern steamers, dryers, roasters, ovens, and automated conveyor systems. Continuous machinery upgrades have enabled a closed-loop production process, ensuring product integrity from harvest to consumer delivery.

According to CEO To Thi Nga, “Our company values every contribution, from farmers to transporters, skilled workers to management teams. We strive to create a friendly working environment that benefits both the collective and individuals.”

Despite challenges in cashew kernel exports post-COVID-19, the company pivoted by investing in automation, reducing labor costs by 50% while enhancing product quality. Advanced shelling technology minimizes kernel breakage, increases whole nut yield, and produces brighter, more visually appealing cashews that meet international standards.

Focusing on deep processing, Nga Bien Company has diversified its product lines to gain a competitive edge. Today, under the Vigonuts brand, its processed cashew products are exported to key markets such as China, the U.S., the U.K., Germany, and the Middle East.

Establishing Vietnam’s cashew brand

Nga Bien Company prioritizes brand building in both domestic and international markets. From the outset, it developed the Vigonuts brand for its processed cashew products and pursued national OCOP (One Commune One Product) certification as part of its branding strategy.

To date, the company has secured OCOP 3-star certification for eight products, with several upgraded to 4-star status. In 2024, five of its products—original salted roasted cashews, salted egg cheese-flavored cashews, vegetarian roasted cashews, garlic chili-flavored cashews, and nutritious cashew-based cookies—are strong candidates for national 5-star OCOP recognition.

Nga emphasizes, “Our approach to the domestic market is to deliver high-quality products with integrity and dedication. Beyond nutritional excellence, we ensure meticulous attention to every service aspect, offering customers a seamless and caring shopping experience.”
