Passenger transport up nearly 10%

(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, passenger transport volume in the province reached an estimated 16.2 million trips in the first two months of this year, marking a 9.7% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, passenger transport turnover rose by 11.8% year-on-year.

Following the Lunar New Year, passenger transportation services continued to grow compared to the previous month. This increase was primarily driven by workers, laborers, students, and pupils returning to the province for work and study after the holiday. Furthermore, rising travel demand for sightseeing and temple visits in February also contributed to higher revenue and passenger numbers.
