Passenger transport reaches 7.5 million trips in January

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, passenger transportation saw a significant increase in January due to the Lunar New Year holiday, which heightened travel demand. Additionally, entertainment and tourism activities during the holiday period further contributed to the growth in revenue and transport volume for the passenger transportation sector in the province.

As a result, the estimated passenger transport volume in Đồng Nai for January reached nearly 7.5 million trips, marking a 7.1% increase compared to the previous month. Passenger transport turnover also rose by 7.1% month-on-month.

Regarding fixed-route passenger transport, the province operated 206 reciprocal routes connecting with 30 provinces and cities across the country, with a total of over 11,200 trips per month—an increase of approximately 9.6% compared to the previous month.
