(ĐN)- According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), total car sales in Vietnam reached nearly 21,600 units in February 2025, including over 14,500 passenger cars, marking a 2.5% increase compared to January 2025.

Sales of domestically assembled vehicles totaled approximately 11,000 units, up 21% from the previous month. Meanwhile, fully imported vehicles recorded sales of over 10,500 units, an 8% increase from January.

Combining VAMA’s data with figures from automakers that report sales separately, such as Hyundai and VinFast, the total number of cars sold in Vietnam in February 2025 surpassed 37,100 units. In the first two months of 2025, the domestic market consumed more than 69,000 vehicles.

According to multiple car dealerships in Bien Hoa City, the increase in February sales was driven by promotional campaigns and special incentives offered by automakers and dealers to attract customers after the Lunar New Year. This rebound in sales suggests that the Vietnamese market is gradually recovering from the post-holiday slump in consumer demand.
