Hyosung Group invests $2.27b in Dong Nai

(DN)- According to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, South Korea’s Hyosung Group has invested approximately $2.27 billion in the province, making it the largest foreign direct investor in Dong Nai. The group primarily focuses on manufacturing various types of fibers for export to dozens of countries and territories.

Hyosung first entered Đồng Nai in 2007 with an initial investment of over $600 million. Over the years, it has expanded its capital multiple times. Following its success in Đồng Nai, the company has also invested in other provinces, including Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu and Quảng Nam.

Currently, Hyosung ranks as South Korea’s third-largest foreign direct investor in Vietnam, following Samsung and LG. The conglomerate operates globally, generating annual revenue exceeding $16 billion.
