On January 2, residents of Phu Loi Commune, Dinh Quan District, were the first in the province to receive Tet gifts, with each household receiving 20kg of rice. The list of recipients is still being updated to ensure no one is left out.

Various charitable groups and individuals are also contributing. The Com Tinh Thuong Charity Group in Long Khanh City aims to collect 400 boxes of instant noodles and other essentials for the poor, near-poor, disabled, elderly, and Agent Orange victims. Similarly, Venerable Thich An Thuan from Phap Tuyen Pagoda in Bien Hoa is calling for support for struggling tenants, critically ill patients, and orphans.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its 29 member organizations are actively mobilizing local resources to provide Tet gifts. Since October 2024, the provincial Fatherland Front has sent appeals to organizations and businesses, emphasizing the need to support disadvantaged groups.
From January 9, the Fund for the Poor will distribute Tet gifts, with 200 gifts per district and 400 for Bien Hoa City, each worth 500,000 VND. Meanwhile, the provincial Agent Orange Victims Association has secured funds to provide 630 Agent Orange victims with gifts worth 800,000 VND each.
Local authorities and organizations continue seeking support to ensure all those in need can enjoy a warm and joyful Tet celebration.
