Focusing on irrigation to boost agricultural development

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, 15 irrigation projects are under construction in the province, with a total estimated investment of approximately VND 3.63 trillion.

Once completed, these projects will enhance irrigation capacity for about 6,800 hectares of agricultural land and provide clean water with a capacity of 40,000 m³/day for rural residents.

Currently, the province has 139 operational irrigation structures serving over 43,000 hectares for irrigation and salinity prevention. Đồng Nai continues to prioritize irrigation investments to meet the criteria for advanced new-style rural development, serving as a driving force for local agricultural growth.
