FDI revenue reaches nearly $3.9 bil

(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, the province-based foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises generated nearly $3.9 billion in revenue during the first two months of this year, marking an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. Of this, approximately $2.4 billion came from exports, while nearly $1.5 billion was from domestic sales.

FDI enterprises in Dong Nai are showing a growing trend toward expanding domestic consumption. Some companies noted that many products manufactured in Dong Nai and Vietnam are being exported by one company and later imported by another. To address this, FDI firms have been strengthening connections with local businesses in the same industry to source inputs domestically, thereby reducing reliance on imports. Having access to locally sourced raw materials enhances logistics efficiency, simplifies origin tracing, and increases the localization rate of products—an essential factor for meeting partner requirements.
