Dong Nai’s Jan-Feb retail sales up 7.8%

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, retail sales revenue in the province reached over 21.2 trillion VND in January, marking a 7.8% increase compared to December 2024.

Most retail product categories experienced revenue growth last month. Among them, key sectors with high growth rates included food and beverages, apparel, household goods and equipment, and petroleum products.

The significant increase in retail sales revenue was primarily driven by the Lunar New Year season in January, which led to a surge in consumer demand for essential goods. Additionally, businesses, shopping centers, supermarkets, and retail stores in the province proactively ensured abundant product supply while launching various promotional programs to attract consumer spending during the peak holiday season.
