Dong Nai strives to have additional 33 model residential areas by 2025

In 2025, localities in the province aim to have an additional 33 model residential areas.

In recent years, Dong Nai has effectively implemented and continuously developd model residential areas. In 2024 alone, the province recognized an additional 31 model residential areas, exceeding the target by more than 8. As of now, the province has a total of 67 model residential areas.

To achieve the title of model residential area, these areas must strive to meet a series of criteria and standards regarding the environment, landscape, transportation, culture, healthcare, education, social order and safety, and civic awareness.

In particular, the model residential areas must meet standards regarding landscape and environment, ensuring cleanliness and beauty from homes to alleys, with village roads and paths being concreted, ensuring they are bright, green, clean, and beautiful; safe agricultural production; and maintained public order and security.
