(ĐN) – On February 14, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Doruco) held 2025 employee conference and announced its business and production plan for the year.
Attending the event were Chairman Cao Van Quang of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thi Hoang of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Chan Sorykan, Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Le Thanh Hung, General Director of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.

Exceeding 2024 targets
By the end of 2024, Doruco had extracted 34,200 tons of latex, surpassing its plan by nearly 18%. The average plantation yield exceeded 2.5 tons per hectare, with Tuc Trung Plantation achieving over 2.7 tons per hectare and Binh Loc Plantation reaching 2.7 tons per hectare. Labor productivity averaged 14.4 tons per worker.
Throughout the year, the company replanted 990 hectares, purchased 6,600 tons of latex, and processed 46,500 tons—exceeding the target by over 110%. Total rubber sales reached 40,100 tons, with an average selling price of 44.8 million VND per ton. Overall, the company recorded revenue of more than 2.2 trillion VND, with the average monthly income of its 3,900 employees reaching 14 million VND.
Strategic goals for 2025
For 2025, Doruco aims to maintain nearly 17,000 hectares of rubber plantations, purchase 9,000 tons of latex, and process 43,200 tons. The corporation targets total revenue of nearly 2.3 trillion VND and strives to increase employee income by 5% compared to 2024.
The company continues to optimize its production structure in line with market demand, maintaining and improving its ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems. It remains committed to developing sustainable, eco-friendly products for the industrial, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
Recognitions and future directions
On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thi Hoang commended Doruco for its contributions to the province’s economic landscape. She urged the company to invest in value-added rubber processing and build a strong brand presence in domestic and international markets. She also assured that the province would support businesses by addressing their concerns and removing obstacles to development.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Thanh Hung, General Director of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, emphasized the importance of aligning with the group's strategic direction, restructuring production, enhancing product quality, and diversifying product offerings to meet market demands.
During the conference, the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group awarded a certificate of merit to Doruco, while the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union presented the company’s labor union with a flag for outstanding achievements. Doruco also honored several individuals and teams for their exceptional performance in 2024.
