In Dong Nai, the province aims for growth of over 10% this year. The processing and manufacturing industry, as well as infrastructure investment, are key areas to promote local economic development.

According to the government's requirements, all levels, sectors, and localities must focus on directing and managing to achieve a national GDP growth of at least 8% by 2025, striving for a two-digit growth rate under more favorable conditions. This is the highest target compared to the National Assembly's goal of 6.5-7%, aiming for 7-7.5%.

To achieve good growth results nationwide, the GRDP growth target for localities in 2025 must be at least 8-10%. Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, potential localities, and large cities are the leading engines and growth poles that need to strive for a higher growth rate than the national average to enhance their strong role in the overall economy.

The processing and manufacturing industry and infrastructure construction investment will continue to be the driving forces for growth. A deeper analysis by experts indicates that in the scenario of GDP growth of 6.5-7%, the industrial sector's growth will reach 6.6-7.5% compared to 2024; among which, the processing and manufacturing industry is expected to have a growth rate of 7.4-8.3%.

n the scenario where GDP grows by 8%, the industrial sector will experience a growth rate of 9.3%. If the economy grows by 10% compared to 2024, the industrial sector is expected to see an increase of 11.9%.

In addition to the processing and manufacturing industries, another growth driver is the enhancement of infrastructure. It is projected that by the end of 2025, 3,000 km of highways and 1,000 km of coastal roads will be completed. Many highway projects will be expanded.

In Dong Nai, the province identifies infrastructure construction as a strategic breakthrough to increase investment attractiveness and local competitiveness. Projects such as Phuoc An Seaport becoming operational, Long Thanh International Airport nearing completion, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Highway accelerating, and new industrial park technical infrastructure projects being pushed forward are creating more appeal for domestic and foreign enterprises.
