Dong Nai home to over 400 enterprises and cooperatives engaged in freight transport

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Department, the province currently has over 400 enterprises and cooperatives involved in freight transport with a total of 25,100 vehicles effectively meeting the demand for goods transportation in the area.

They primarily serve the transport of goods from warehouses, ports, and industrial zones to provinces and cities across the country.

In January alone, the freight transport revenue of the province reached approximately 2.2 trillion VND, an increase of 8.3% compared to December 2024 and up more than 17.2% compared to the same period last year. In January 2025, the demand for freight transportation serving the Lunar New Year increased significantly, especially for essential goods.

Additionally, key national construction projects in the province are being expedited for timely completion and handover, leading to a strong increase in demand for construction material transportation. This has positively impacted the revenue and volume of freight transport services, contributing to revenue growth compared to the same period in previous years.
