(ĐN)- On March 13, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc led a government delegation to inspect the progress of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway projects. Dong Nai’s delegation, including Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dương Minh Dũng, participated in the inspection.

The Bến Lức - Long Thành Expressway has achieved nearly 90% completion, with eight packages finished and five others at 70%, expected to be completed by Q2 2025. The Bình Khánh Bridge (J1 package) is 88% complete and set for August 2025, while the Phước Khánh Bridge (J3-1 package) is still in bidding and expected to finish in September 2026. The remaining land clearance will be completed by May 2025.

For the Biên Hòa - Vũng Tàu Expressway, most land clearance has been completed, allowing construction to proceed. However, investors urged the province to expedite the remaining land clearance, relocate technical infrastructure, and resolve material supply issues to accelerate progress.

Deputy PM Phớc directed Đồng Nai to quickly complete land clearance for the remaining 300m of the Bến Lức - Long Thành Expressway and resolve obstacles in the Biên Hòa - Vũng Tàu project. He emphasized the importance of these expressways in enhancing regional connectivity, particularly with Long Thành International Airport.
